Mascarpone Beer Chocolate Pudding

Smooth, velvety, chocolate-y and so lip smacking tasty!

Though I am a self proclaimed ever hungry person, this pudding did test that to the max. I just wanted to finish photographing just so that I could eat a bowlful of this pudding. It looked so smooth and silky-yum, yum and yum. The other thing that was keeping me interested was the photography style- I was quite enjoyed exploring the the dark and moody concept. Can you believe these pictures were taken from an iPhone, with some help from Lightroom, of course😊

If you are afraid that the Beer will give this pudding a bitter after taste, don't be-as beer only helps to build on the chocolate side of the dessert. I actually was very happy with the combo as honestly, I expected it to go sideways, somewhat.

Ingredients

Mascarpone Chocolate Beer Pudding

1 cup Stout/Dry beer

1 cup Mascarpone cheese

¼ Cup Dark chocolate, chopped

¼ Cup Milk chocolate, chopped

Nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

Mascarpone Chocolate Beer Pudding

1. In a medium pan, pour the beer over medium low heat.

2. Let it simmer until it reduces down to ½ cup.

3. Keep on checking the quantity while it simmers. Once it’s down to ½ cup remove from heat.

4. Add the chopped chocolate(Milk and Dark) into this hot beer, and mix till the mixture is smooth and silky.

5. In a mixing bowl, place the mascarpone cheese and whip it for few secs.

6. Add the beer-chocolate warm mixture into this mixing bowl, and gently fold them together.

7. Place this in a wide bottom bowl and cover it with a cling wrap, allow it to cool to the room temperature.

8. Then refrigerate until it is to be served.
